Low Fuel Reserve in Middle East Crisis. The crisis in the Gulf is escalating and after brief hopes that the Straits may allow some traffic, this looks unlikely. Fuel prices are escalating – and there are serious concerns about the availability of diesel which runs everything from farm production to food distribution.Of course its not the only fuel that is a problem, fertiliser, chemicals the list goes on. Australia and the whole of the global economy will be very badly affected.
